A section of press has published that the Director General, Health Services, MCI, Islamabad, has sealed the premises of Islamabad District Courts for a period of 10 days, after finding positive COVID-19 cases.
It is clarified that the above referred news is incorrect. The Islamabad District Courts are open and working, and they have not been sealed or closed. However, those three (03) courts are sealed whose officers/officials have contracted COVID-19 Coronavirus.
The SOPs for prevention from Corona Virus are being followed in the District Courts, Islamabad, as much as possible. Despite all the odds, the courts continue to perform their important duty of dispensation of justice to the public.
